The GICC Steering Committee recently approved the Seven Basic Principles of Industrial Vacuuming.

The GICC Steering Committee recently approved the Seven Basic Principles of Industrial Vacuuming. “We are excited to have expanded the basic principles to vacuum truck cleaning,” said Lance McKay, GICC Steering Committee Member and AusJet Board Member. “It’s very important that we are all following the fundamental principles for safety across all of industrial cleaning and creating Industrial Vacuuming Principles was the next logical step.”
These principles follow the same outline as the Seven Basic Principles of High Pressure Waterjetting and can be used by anyone in the industry to create safety best practices.

The GICC Discusses the Importance of Global Waterjetting Standards with WJTA Conference Attendees from around the WORLD.

Kerry Siggins, CEO of StoneAge, VP of the WJTA Board of Directors and founding member of GICC gave a thorough overview of how this initiative was born and what it aims to accomplish in the industrial cleaning industry.
Kerry presentation covered the 7 basic water jetting principles that point out the joint responsibility between asset owners, manufacturers/suppliers of equipment and industrial cleaning contractors. She also unveiled the new GICC website.

The GICC will be at the this year’s WJTA Conference and Expo, presenting during the Asset Owner’s Education Track on the importance of developing global waterjetting principles.
Kerry Siggins, CEO of StoneAge, VP of the WJTA Board of Directors, and founding member of the GICC, will be sharing the history of the GICC, the progress that’s been made to date, and next steps. The session will be open to asset owners only but founding members of the GICC will be at the conference.
